Painting and Drawing holidays
The town of Morzine and the surrounding mountains provide the ultimate location for landscape painting. Breathtaking scenery and a vivid variety of colours give an abundance of artistic options from panoramic peaks to valley rivers & waterfalls, from lakeside beauty spots to traditional Alpine village scenes.
Tutored courses
Suzi Kennett-Brown is a regular tutor at this venue and operates courses in June. This informal painting course is open to both beginners and the more experienced. Tuition includes, sketching in a variety of media, the most popular being watercolour, crayon and pastel.Untutored holidays
Painting enthusiasts are welcomed year round. We will provide transport to and from places of interest.Non painters
Non painting friends and partners are very welcome to join the painting weeks. There are plenty of sports and excursions on offer in Morzine and the surrounding area.Seasons
Spring - When the mountains come alive with spring flowers contrasting with snow covered mountain tops.Summer - With all the snow gone the greenness of the pastures and blueness of the lakes glistening under the illumination of the summer sun.
Autumn - The mountains are amazingly alight with autumn colours mixed with evergreens.
Painting excursions

Transport to and from 3 sites within an hour of Morzine and drivers waiting time.
Picnics provided everyday if required.

Day trip to Annecy.: Painting in the old town with ancient buildings, narrow walkways and waterways with a spectacular mountain backdrop.Day trip to Yvoire: This mediaeval fishing port on the banks of lake Geneva is one of the most beautiful villages in the Alps.
Day trip to Sixt Fer a cheval: A gentle walk along a glacial valley,now a national park, with an abundance of waterfalls and wildlife.
Day trip to Chamonix: A spectacularly rugged valley at the foot of Mont Blanc.
