Chalet Des Amis

New to Chilly Powder for the Winter 2010 season, Des Amis is a luxury three bedroomed chalet immediately next door to Hotel Au Coin du Feu. The chalet was built and decorated in the same style as our other properties and provides excellent private accommodation with access to all the facilities of the hotel next door. Des Amis is available on a half board basis with all meals served in the dining room in Au Coin du Feu or on a self catered basis during certain weeks of the winter season.

Des Amis has three double or twin bedrooms, all of which are en-suite, and can sleep up to six adults. It also provides lots of space for small groups and families, having it's own modern kitchen and cozy lounge.

The chalet is situated at the foot of the ski slopes linking Morzine with Avoriaz in the area of Les Prodains. Skiing starts at the cable car opposite the chalet and finishes with blue, red or black pistes, straight into our back garden.

A typical day starts with a wake-up call if you wish followed by a delicious mix of both cooked and continental breakfasts, which change each day. On your return from the slopes you can enjoy a sauna and massage and then  drinks in our private bar or the outdoor hot tub.

At 8pm each evening our well experienced Head Chef will prepare and serve a hearty 5 course meal for adults along with specially selected fine wines. We offer a choice of meat or vegetarian meals each evening and cater for special dietary requirements. Thursday is typically our chalet night off and we will be happy to recommend some of the excellent restaurants in Morzine, make reservations for you and arrange your taxi home.

Our in-house crèche is run by our well experienced and fully qualified team of nannies and has toys and equipment for toddlers and babies, with bottle warming and sterilising facilities in the crèche kitchenette. Children's meals are served at 5.30pm each evening and all bedrooms have a baby listening facility through our telephone system.
